To enable the most significant impact possible for participating businesses, the Texas Up & Running Program is limited to a select group of small businesses. There are four eligibility criteria to consider before applying to this program:
eBay is committed to helping small businesses transition to a bright, sustainable future in the digital economy. For that reason, the Texas Up & Running Program is limited to historically underutilized businesses registered and operationally based in the State of Texas.
All applicants must sell retail products (not services) that align with one of eBay's core merchandise categories. Visit ebay.com to view these categories.
New eBay business sellers are eligible for the Texas Up & Running Program. The program has been designed to offer a valuable learning experience for those businesses who have limited experience on the eBay platform.
Businesses not yet registered on eBay must create a business account before applying. Businesses already registered on eBay must have accounts in good standing. Applicants will be asked to provide their eBay username in the application, which we will use to verify account status.
The most competitive applicants will have:
a business operating history of six months or longer
a clear and compelling business identity/narrative
an established online presence, evidenced by a functioning website and/or well-maintained social media account/s
some ecommerce experience (helpful but not required)
