Senator Ayotte (R-NH) Works to Protect Online Retailers From New Tax Requirements

Over the past few months, Congressional supporters of Internet sales taxes have claimed that 2013 is going to be the year when they see a federal Internet sales tax bill passed into law.  Fortunately, supporters of this misguided tax scheme are not the only ones gearing up for a fight on Internet sales taxes.

One of our faithful friends, Senator Ayotte (R-NH), in coordination with Senator Wyden (D-OR), just announced yesterday that she is planning to reintroduce her Congressional Resolution  opposing new sales tax burdens for online retailers.  As you may know, Senator Ayotte has been instrumental in our fight to keep the Internet open to small retailers in New Hampshire and across the country.  Watch her testimony below:
