At eBay, we believe in the power of entrepreneurship and the ripple effect that happens when sellers are equipped with the tools and resources they need to grow their businesses.

Today, we are excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Up & Running Grants program. Now in its sixth year, this program exemplifies eBay’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and creating economic opportunity for all.

Since launching in 2020, the program has awarded more than $2.5 million to 250 eBay sellers, helping small business owners strengthen their businesses, pursue new opportunities, and invest back into their communities.

This year’s grant recipients will include 50 U.S. sellers, each receiving a $10,000 grant, a $500 eBay Refurbished credit, and access to coaching, tools, and educational resources to help them scale with confidence.

The program continues to drive real impact:

  • Sellers have used the grants to renovate physical and digital storefronts, expand product offerings, improve fulfillment processes, and build stronger teams.

  • 90% of past recipients have said the grant has made a major difference in their confidence about the future.

  • Our partner, Hello Alice, provides all applicants with step-by-step business guides, industry-specific tools, mentorship opportunities, and access to a community of entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses.

The Up & Running Grants program reflects more than just financial support. It represents the heart of our marketplace: helping sellers turn passions into businesses, build resilient communities, and thrive through every stage of growth.

Applications are open now through June 6, 2025 at 6:00pm EST.
