eBay Sellers and PayPal Merchants visit their legislators at Parliament House in Canberra

This month eBay sellers and PayPal merchants participated in meetings with Australian government stakeholders to discuss ways to promote growth in commerce and the digital economy.

Issues covered a wide variety of topics including: growing the digital economy, logistics and infrastructure, improving the Australian e-commerce skills base, and many other matters.

Meetings included Senator the Hon Stephen Conroy; Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy; Ed Husic MP, Federal Member for Chifley and Chair of Labor Digital Economy Group; the Hon. Bruce Billson MP, Shadow Minister for Competition Policy & Small Business; and many other Members of Parliament.
