On June 16th , 2010 eBay was honored by the Public Counsel Law Center at an awards dinner in Beverly Hills, Calif., for outstanding corporate social responsibility. eBay was chosen for the award because of its commitment to environmental responsibility, charitable giving, fighting poverty, ethical business conduct and employee volunteerism. eBay General Counsel Michael Jacobson accepted the honor on the company’s behalf.
