Last week, Connecticut State Representative Elaine O’Brien paid a visit to the StubHub campus in East Granby, CT. East Granby, along with Windsor and Suffield, make up the 61st Assembly District, which O’Brien represents at the state level. Representative O'Brien - a StubHub user herself - met with constituents and discussed the ease with which individuals can buy and sell tickets using the eBay Inc. service.

This week, eBay Government Relations had the privilege to attend and participate in eBay's On Location in Philadelphia, PA.  Over 900 eBay sellers were in attendance and it was exciting to meet new and old friends, including Bruce Foote and Mike Turmell (pictured), long time sellers from Arizona and Ohio.  During our time at eOL, the GR team was able to discuss the latest news on the Internet sales tax issue and hear directly from folks about how this new tax proposal would negatively impact their business.  eBay's GR team is always interested in hearing the concerns
