Crystal’s reselling journey started when she was volunteering with an organization that supplied her local unhoused community with items to last through difficult winters. Someone donated a Burberry coat that wouldn’t serve the unhoused population in harsh weather, but Crystal had an idea: why not sell the item and use the proceeds to buy several more suitable coats for their clients? Crystal really enjoyed reselling items on eBay and started to seriously consider selling online as a full-time career, and met eBay communities full of people with the same idea and passion for thrifting.

Longtime business owner Stephanie Franco started re-selling on eBay in 2017 as a hobby, and then a business in 2021 to contribute extra income to her family when her marketing business lost clients during the pandemic. She had started working a temp job with the SBA, with intense hours and stressful situations in the middle of COVID-19, but ultimately decided to convert her online reselling business into an LLC to create flexibility and independence for her business ventures.
