Gov. Kitzhaber and an aide meet with Josh Schoonmaker, who is part of eBay Inc.'s Commerce Innovation Showcase

Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber visited eBay Inc.’s headquarters in San Jose, CA while on a trip to Silicon Valley. The technology sector in Oregon has experienced significant growth and Governor Kitzhaber was very interested in visiting the birthplace of that sector. After touring a showcase of the products and technologies that eBay Inc. is innovating, the Governor met with eBay Inc. staff to learn more about our businesses and products. Governor Kitzhaber also met with members of our Mobile team to discuss the rapid growth of mobile commerce and our office in Oregon, which is located in Portland.
