eBay’s Public Policy Lab launches a new report looking at how the online platform model of commerce supports the internationalization and growth of small businesses in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

At eBay, we recognize the large contribution that small businesses make to the economy, and work to support our sellers’ success.

Earlier this week nine small businesses descended in Brussels for a two day event to share their small business stories and discuss with various stakeholders how the European Commission’s Digital Market Strategy can benefit European Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.

This week the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Günther Oettinger, visited eBay’s headquarters in San Jose to meet with Marie Huber, eBay’s General Counsel, and Stefan Krawczyk, Head of Government Relations International.

eBay’s board of directors has approved the completion of our previously announced decision to separate eBay and PayPal into standalone public companies.
