eBay Provides Feedback on Consumer Privacy Legislation
Congressman Rick Boucher (D-VA) and Congressman Cliff Stearns (R-FL) have released draft federal consumer privacy legislation and requested public comment.  eBay, long recognized as a leader in protecting user privacy, provided feedback.  eBay will continue to promote sensible and balanced reform as the issue is considered by the US Congress. PayPal Hosts Singapore's Minister of Finance
On June 7, PayPal was pleased to host a delegation from Singapore that included the Minister of Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The Minister led a delegation from the Singapore Economic Development Board and met with PayPal President Scott Thompson, PayPal VP and General Counsel John Muller and Head of Global Government Relations Michelle Peacock.

eBay Forges New Partnerships in Macau
A memorandum of understanding was signed between eBay Vice President Jeff Liao and IPIM Executive Director Echo Chan to promote local SMEs business.As eBay’s worldwide presence grows, it continues to build new relationships across the globe. In May, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and eBay signed a memorandum of understanding to promote e-commerce among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Macau.
