Poll: How do you access the internet?
As part of its effort to craft a national broadband plan, the FCC released a survey that showed one-third of Americans are not connected to high-speed broadband Internet services. The primary reasons these 93 million Americans cite for not having broadband service include affordability and a lack of digital skills needed to take advantage of the technology, the FCC found. eBay Urges Rethink on EU’s Internet Sales Plan
The European Commission has recently drafted legislation allowing suppliers (brand owners) to require that distributors have a retail storefront before they can sell online. "A 'brick-and-mortar' provision would hold back e-commerce growth in Europe over the next decade just when it is at a 'teenage stage'," said Tod Cohen, eBay's vice president of government relations.
