Senate Committee discusses small business and entrepreneurship

On May 13th, eBay top seller, Chris Chapman, participated in the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship’s roundtable on Connecting Main Street to the World: Small Business Perspectives on Internet Access. Chris was one of 11 small business leaders from across the country invited to participate in this discussion regarding the importance of Internet access to small businesses of every kind, including online commerce.

During the discussion, Chris was able to share with the Small Business Committee his personal success story and the tremendous growth his business has encountered since moving to an online business model and utilizing online marketplace platforms, such as eBay.

Chris is the founder of Snow Sport Deals, which specializes in the sale of skiing and snowboarding equipment and accessories. Today, Snow Sport Deals sells approximately 10,000 pairs of skis per year and even ships products internationally.
