Recently, eBay Government Relations facilitated our first California in-district meeting of 2023, between Small Business Ambassador Ron Blocher and Senator Tom Umberg (CA-SD-36) at Crimson Stallion Cycle Supply, located in Santa Ana, CA. As the owner, Ron hosted the meeting at his warehouse and was joined by his wife and co-owner Denise, warehouse manage Jamari, and sales and product manage Josh.
During the meeting, various topics were discussed related to running a small business on eBay, as well as the bike industry supply chain. Ron, being an experienced eBay seller, shared his insights on the platform and how it has helped him grow his business. Senator Umberg listened attentively and asked thoughtful questions about the challenges that small business owners face when selling online.
This meeting was a great opportunity for the Crimson Stallion team and Senator Umberg to discuss important issues facing small business, and for the Senator to hear directly from a small business owner in his district. We look forward to facilitating more meetings like this with sellers and their representatives throughout the year.
