Effective November 1, 2020, eBay began Internet sales tax collection in 23 home rule cities in Colorado. Home rule cities are local governments that impose and administer their own local sales and use taxes. This means that in addition to state, county, and district taxes, sales taxes will be collected at the city level in these 23 home rule jurisdictions. We anticipate additional home rule cities in Colorado to pass marketplace facilitation ordinances in the upcoming months.
