March 19, 2010

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed the "Discount Pricing Consumer Protection Act," S.148, by voice vote. Tod Cohen, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Government Relations at eBay Inc, made the following statement regarding the Committee\'s decision:

"eBay commends the Senate Judiciary Committee for leading the effort to protect consumers and small businesses from the anti-competitive effects of vertical price-fixing.
