Europeans Campaign for Consumer Choice
Many brands don\'t want their products sold online — on eBay or elsewhere. European Commission publishes follow-up report on cross-border e-commerce
The European Commission released today its follow-up report to the March 2009 report on cross-border e-commerce in the EU.
The new report, published on 22 October 2009, aims to check the availability of products and to quantify the savings European Consumers can make when shopping cross-border online, which illustrates why it is important to increase efforts to combat the above-mentioned barriers.

eBay CEO Reiterates Open Internet Support
John Donahoe joined with the CEOs of major Internet and technology industry companies, including Twitter, Facebook, Google, and Amazon in a <a href="/files/Net-Neutrality-Letter-of-Support-Chairman-Genachowski.pdf" target="_blank" title="Net-Neutrality-Letter-of-Support-Chairman-Genachowski">letter of support</a> for Net Neutrality to the Federal Communications Commission. The FCC is undertaking a rulemaking on the issue of non-discrimination on the Internet and the process is expected to run through early 2010.

EU Sellers Send a Very Big Message
Larger-than-life posters hang throughout the Brussels subway system touting the success of the recent eBay petition campaign. eBay France Meets Institut des Hautes Etudes de l\'Entreprise (IHEE)
The eBay Government Relations team in France had a successful meeting with 45 representatives from the Institut des Hautes Etudes de l\'Entreprise (IHEE) - a program created by l\'Institut de l\'entreprise in 2000 to develop the links between the companies and other sectors of French society.
