The Code Cadets

Recently eBay Inc. hosted a visit by The Code Cadets, a group of Australian students at Canberra Grammar School who have a passion and deep interest in computer science and information technology. The visit was part of a 2 week tour visiting high tech companies in Silicon Valley.

As part of their visit to eBay Inc., the students got to experience the eBay Inc. Commerce Innovation showcase where the latest technologies in commerce and payments are demonstrated in a variety of retail-like environments. The Code Cadets visited the eBay Site Engineering Center (SEC), which is the command center that monitors eBay site performance and availability 24/7/365.

eBay Inc. hopes the students were inspired and motivated by their visit and continue to pursue their passions in information technology. We wish the students success for the rest of their U.S. tour.
