eBay Inc. GAP Team Participates in the 2014 NRF Conference

Recently members of the eBay Inc. Global Asset Protection (GAP) Team participated in the Nation Retail Federation loss prevention conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Each year the conference is attended by more than a thousand retail professionals representing retailers from across the county, many of whom are eBay Inc. clients. Training classes and networking opportunities are provided to attendees.

The 2014 National Retail Federation Conference marked the fifth consecutive year that eBay Inc. - in partnership with Macy's - sponsored our retail outreach through the Fusion Center. The Fusion Center is a designated area in the EXPO Hall that provides an opportunity for law enforcement agencies from the federal, state and local levels to link - or "fuse" - with retailers to counteract retail crime. Retailers can visit these law enforcement agency booths to discuss tactics, exchange critical data, and enhance important partnerships. The Fusion Center offers retailers a valuable opportunity to network and partner with law enforcement and eBay Inc. During the successful two day event, GAP team members met with eBay Enterprise, eBay Marketplaces and PayPal retail partners.
