eBay Dublin GAP Team Spends Good Friday at Homeless Shelter

April 6, 2016

The Dublin GAP Team

The eBay Dublin Global Asset Protection (GAP) team spent Good Friday at the BRU homeless shelter in Dublin City center, putting together furniture for the homeless shelter. BRU takes in homeless people from the streets of Dublin each night (80 men and 21 women) to feed them and give them a bed. It is an amazing place and a great place for the homeless to be able to come in from the cold in a safe environment. Click here for more information on the BRU homeless shelter.

The Dublin GAP organized this with help from Serve the City and managed to put together dining tables, comfy coaches, countless chairs, storage units, computer tables, laundry baskets and organized a storage room which will all help in making the shelter a more comfortable environment.

We received the following feedback from the BRU staff: “I just want to say thanks a million for Friday. You and the eBay gang were all lovely and you did so much for us. The whole team really appropriates it.”
