Late last week, Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY), along with a bipartisan group of 15 Members of Congress, sent a letter to House Speaker Boehner and House Majority Leader Cantor opposing the Internet sales tax bill that is currently pending in the House of Representatives.  In the letter, the Members express their concerns with how the proposed legislation would burden online retailers and force them to become tax collectors for states and local jurisdictions all across the country.  In addition, the letter urged Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Cantor to find ways to increase

Virginia small business owner, Catesby Jones of Gloucester, Virginia, recently expressed his concerns with the Internet sales tax legislation currently being debated in Congress.  As the owner of Peace Frogs, a small business that makes and sells T-shirts and other fun stuff online, Mr. Jones is concerned about how this legislation will impact his business when he is forced to become the tax collector for over 9600 taxing jurisdictions nationwide.
