Sally Sitou MP visits eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee centre

It was wonderful to welcome Sally Sitou MP, Federal Member for Reid, to eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee centre for a closer look at the people and processes that enable eBay to build trusted online experiences.

Through Authenticity Guarantee, eligible items—including sneakers and luxury handbags—are sent to specialist authenticators before reaching the buyer. Experts conduct a physical inspection to verify authenticity and check that the item matches its listing. Items that pass inspection are then securely packaged and sent on to their new owners.
