October 10, 2014

This week, Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer met with the eBay Inc. Government Relations team at headquarters to learn more about our business model and how our products are revolutionizing the way people shop and pay. The team was excited to take the Senator through eBay Inc.'s Innovation Showcase which illustrated how small- and medium-sized businesses throughout world are utilizing eBay Inc. technologies to grow their businesses and connect consumers to experiences and products they love.

Founded in 1998, PayPal continues to be at the forefront of the digital payments revolution, giving people direct control over their money. Through our innovations, we make life better for our over 152 million active accounts in 26 currencies and across 203 markets, processing more than 9 million payments daily.

eBay Inc. has a PayPal office located in the Senator's home state of Nebraska.  The La Vista campus has the second largest concentration of eBay Inc. employees in the U.S. and it is one of the largest employers in the Greater Omaha area.

Thank you to Senator Fischer for your visit to eBay Inc. headquarters and your ongoing interest in those policy issues that are important to eBay Inc. and our small business partners. To learn more about Senator Fischer, visit her website and follow her on Twitter.
