eBay was recently recognized at the 2015 CIC Industry Leadership Summit for its outstanding efforts to eliminate the scourge of counterfeit and stolen coupons. At the Summit, Bud Miller, CPP, Executive Director of The Coupon Information Corporation (CIC), stated that the Members of CIC were very pleased to recognize the efforts of eBay in reducing the illicit sale of coupons and appreciate eBay for working with the CIC and its Members in this area. Just a year ago, there were more than 100,000 coupon auctions a day on eBay. Through enhanced policies and enforcement efforts, eBay has reduced this number by more than 96% on an average day.
