eBay Joins the Utah Hispanic Chamber to Inspire Women Entrepreneurs

October 28, 2015

eBay seller, Melissa Paz, with conference speaker, Nely Galan, founder of the Adelante Movement

Last week eBay seller and entrepreneur Melissa Paz, owner of Lazy Breeze Deals, and eBay’s very own Seller Evangelist Sarah Brubacher, inspired a crowd of nearly 250 Latina women in Salt Lake City at the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Women Business Leadership Conference. Sarah set the stage by introducing the “new eBay” and the power of connected commerce, and introduced Melissa who shared her personal eBay story.

After moving to Orlando, FL from Puerto Rico in 2006, Melissa and her husband worked tirelessly to chase the American Dream and, because of eBay, Melissa feels she is living it. She began by selling unopened cosmetics and unused gifts, but has since grown her business into a full time operation through which she sells luggage and women’s shoes. Recently, Melissa has discovered a passion for sharing her ecommerce and business knowledge with those around her. She hosts meetups with other sellers, and even has her own talk show, #eComBlab. You can follow her on Twitter at @LazyBreezeDeals.

Thank you to the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a fantastic event and inviting eBay to be a part of it!
