eBay Inc. joins 2012 Driving Business Online Initiative

eBay Inc. companies will be working together for the 2012 Driving Business Online initiative. This education campaign encourages and helps businesses have an online presence and improve their sales, thereby improving the digital economy.

Last year the program visited 14 towns, mainly in regional areas including: Armidale; Port Macquarie; Lismore; Casino; Tweed Heads; Bathurst; Mudgee; Dubbo; Muswellbrook; Kiama; Merimbula; Albury; Wagga Wagga; and Orange. Last year, the initiative has undertook 335 business information sessions and 195 individual consultations. This year, the program will launch in Sydney’s west, Parramatta on 1 August 2012, and then travel across Australia including Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Hobart, Richmond (Melbourne), Surfers Paradise, Adelaide and Perth.

The Driving Business Online events and website provide small business communities with the much sought after guidance and support they are seeking to help their businesses succeed. Businesses are encouraged to register and can do so by visiting the seminar website.
